Set against the backdrop of an atmospheric and foreboding Los Angeles, David Lynch’s haunting noir masterpiece stars Naomi Watts and Laura Elena Harring as a pair of femme fatales who get caught up
in a complex and dangerous mystery fueled by erotic passion.

Recently named as the “Best Film of the Decade” by numerous critic’s associations and magazines, Mulholland Drive is that rare film which manages to captivate and tantalize audiences trying to unlock the deeper meanings and symbolism embedded in
the film’s subtext.


Nick Schager is a film critic for Slant Magazine and
as well as a columnist and features writer for the Independent Film Channel. His work has also appeared in, among other publications, The Village Voice, indieWire, Cinematical, The Independent, The Screengrab, PLANET magazine and SOMA magazine. A former magazine editor and 2004 graduate of Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism, he has been a featured speaker at Columbia University as well as a guest on A&E's Biography and G4TV's Attack of the Show. He resides in Stamford, CT
with his wife and two daughters.
